Artie Altomare was elected Mayor in 1997 and began his first term in January of 1998.
Previously he was a Leetonia Village Councilman. He was re-elected as Mayor in 2000 and is presently serving as your Leetonia Mayor.

Administrator's E-mail
The Leetonia Village Administrator's position was established by ordinance 91-1645 on November 6,
1991.
The first Village Administrator to be appointed to this position was A.E. Wardingly; he served from
1993-1997.
The second Administrator to be appointed was John C. Simonds; he served from 1997-2000.
I am now serving the third appointed position as your Village Administrator,
Gary E. Phillips.

Village Council
Leetonia Village Council meets the first and third Wednesday of
every month at 7:00 p.m. Council Chambers is located in the basement level of Leetonia's Village
Hall.

Mayor's Court
The Village of Leetonia operates a Mayor's Court to determine prosecution for criminal offenses and
traffic violations occurring within the boundaries of the Village of Leetonia. Mayor's Court
convenes twice a month in Council Chambers located in the basement level of the Village Hall.
