Leetonia Police Department operates 24 hours, 7 days a week to serve and protect our Village residences and their businesses. The Department consists of the Chief of Police, one Sergeant, one full time Officer, one part-time Detective, and eight part-time Officers.
Communications: One head Dispatcher and six Dispatchers, which are all part time employees. The Dispatchers also dispatch for the Leetonia Volunteer Fire Department / E.M.S 24 hours/7 days a week.
Chief John M. Soldano has served as the Village Police Chief since October 1997; he joined the Leetonia Police Department in 1989. Chief Soldano is active throughout the Columbiana County area in many different organizations.
