Police Department

Leetonia Police Department operates 24 hours, 7 days a week to serve and protect our Village residences and their businesses. The Department consists of the Chief of Police, one Sergeant, one full time Officer,one full time School Resource Officer, and eight part-time Officers.

Communications: One head Dispatcher and six Dispatchers, which are all part time employees. The Dispatchers also dispatch for the Leetonia Volunteer Fire Department 24 hours/7 days a week.

Chief John M. Soldano has served as the Village Police Chief since October 1997; he joined the Leetonia Police Department in 1989. Chief Soldano is active throughout the Columbiana County area in many different organizations.
