Fees

1489.01 INSPECTION FEES

(a) Residential Construction and Additions. The fee for inspections of new construction and additions shall be as follows:

(1) 1,000 sq. ft. or less $50.00

(2) Each additional sq. ft. shall be $.02

(b) Accessory Building The fee for inspections of Accessory Building

not for human occupancy shall be $10.00 plus a half of one percent (.005) of the total cost or value of the building.

(c) Commercial & Industrial Construction, Additions, & Accessory Buildings

The fee shall be $.03 per square feet

Minimum fee $50.00

(d) Other. The fee for inspections of construction, alternations and repairs not

covered under subsections (a) and (b) hereof shall be five dollars ($5.00) for any building,

remodeling, alternations, removal and equipping if the total cost or value is less than five hundred dollars ($500.00), and five dollars ($5.00) plus a half of one percent (.005) of the total cost or value of the operation if such total cost or value exceeds five hundred dollars ($500.00).

(e) The fee for fences shall be $10.00

(f) The fee for a copy of this Zoning Ordinance will be $15.00

(g) The fee for a conditional use permit from the Zoning Board will be $25.00

NOTE: No fee's collected from within this ordinance will be refundable.

1489.02 BUILDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION FUND

All moneys received for inspections under this chapter shall be paid forthwith to

the Clerk of Council who shall place all receipts in the General Fund in an account

entitled "The Building Permit and Inspection Fund of the General Fund." All expenses

arising form the application and operation of this Building Code shall be paid from such

Fund. At the end of each fiscal year, all moneys remaining in the Building Permit and

Inspection Fund shall revert to the General Fund to be appropriated as Council

sees fit.
