UPDATE:

To ensure safety of our employees and residents,
Our machine is designed only to pick up leaves - any other types of debris pose as a hazard for our
employees and residents.
. These piles will become responsibility of the resident to bag in biodegradable bags or haul away

The Village of Leetonia will hold its 2020 Fall Leaf Pick Up Program beginning November 2, 2020.

For the safety of our street crew, residents should put leaves in the curb lawn (not the streets) and the Village will come around to pick them up with the leaf vacuum machine. The Village will not pick up piles of mixed materials, such as brush and leaves. Residents will be responsible for having mixed material piles removed at their own expense. Pick up on the North side of town will begin November 2nd and is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. Pick up on the South side will begin November 16th. One final pick up with the leaf vac machine will be held following completion of both sides of town (expected the last week of November). The dates of this program are dependent on weather conditions. Residents have the option to bag their leaves for Village pick up for the next few months. Leaves MUST be bagged in biodegradable paper bags ONLY. No plastic bags will be accepted.
